Spring has arrived in Portland. It has been sunny and warm all weekend and the natives have dragged out their skimpy clothes. The fountain park next to our apartment building was turned on for the summer and the pee fest has begun! I always think it's funny when a kid is in water and tells his mom he has to go pee. I still pee in the pool, my kids will too... Watch out friends.
Lars, Tor and I "did" the MS walk on Saturday. We walked in honor of my mom and aunt. Lars put in some hard miles, but he was all smiles as usual.
Sunday we enjoyed a hike thru forest park, the largest urban park in the U.S. It's amazing.
We have missed warm weather and hope this will continue for a while.

Lars likes himself. Here he is flirting... with himself... at Nordstrom (we stopped during our 5k MS walk, and still beat some people)
The cherry blossom trees on the river, what a lovely way to start the walk.

Yay for your walk! Your patio looks fabulous--very urban. I'm excited for warmer weather, as well. It's been too chaotic here, what with weather in the 70's one day and the next getting two inches of snow.
On the other hand, you look great. Remember, it takes nine-almost ten months to put the baby weight on and it's completely normal to take at least that long to get it off. (In my case, taking weight off always takes A LOT longer).
Oh, and Lars is sooo cute!
What a happy life!
I used to do the MS Walk in Portland a lot (well, a few times). Always so fun, even after a few hours of drunken sleep.
I say that peeing in the pool and the ocean is A-Okay, although there are a few out there who disagree. They're just jealous of my inhibitions.
