The cable guy came to hook up our new cable yesterday and informed me that our house is messy but clean. He then stated he was sure it was because we were moving in and not due to the fact that I am a bad housekeeper, because I look, in his words, "like a clean person".
Note: said cable guy had only two teeth and twenty tattoo's. Not that I'm against either loosing your teeth or gaining some "body art" but just stick to the task at hand... giving me my cable. If I want to know if my house is clean I'll call Merry Maids, and when THEY say no, pay them to clean it for me :)

Hmm...I am not as charitable as you, as I WOULD take issue with a toothless cable guy criticizing the apparent "moving state" of my home. Granted, I am not the best of housekeepers--especially now. However, those that feel inclined to give me friendly advice need to realize that I'm going to give it right back. For instance, does this cable guy realize that flossing daily and brushing each morning and night can do wonders for dental hygiene; including saving the lives of permanent teeth? I'd have filled him in. :)
